The New Mexico Press Service’s 2X2 Advertising Network is a low-cost alternative for clients on a tight budget.
When you need your ad to be seen but you don’t want to spend your entire advertising budget, the 2X2 Network is a cheap and effective way to reach nearly 200,000 readers in New Mexico.
How it works
You can place your ad once in the 23 participating newspapers in New Mexico for one low cost. Your black and white ad will run one time in each paper between Sunday and Saturday. But four consecutive ads and the fifth one is free!
Ad Size and Design
Your ad will be 2-columns by 2-inches, about the size of a business card. For double the price, you can also run a 2-column by 4-inch ad. Because newspapers use different column widths, your ad must be able to fit all sizes – usually between 3.792” and 4.25” wide and 2” tall. We require camera-ready art in a pdf format provided to us through email.
When your ad will run
You can select the week of publication for the ad to appear. It is up to each individual newspaper as the exact day of publication
Payments and deadlines
The cost of an ad is $800 per insertion. Buy 4 consecutive ads and get the 5th for FREE! All ads must be paid in advance, either by check or credit card, by noon on the Wednesday prior to the week you wish the ad to run.
Pick 6 and Pick 10
The Service has started its Pick 6 and Pick 10 programs within the 2X2 network. This allows clients to choose either six or 10 newspapers within the 24-newspaper network in which to advertise
For $300 advertisers can pick six papers to run that 2 by 2 ad and a 2 by 4 ad will cost $600. The Pick 10 allows clients to place an ad in 10 newspapers in the network for $500 per week. And, as with the 2X2 Network, an advertiser who buys four ads will get the fifth for free.
The 2X2 Network is one of three advertising networks offered by the Press Service. Advertisers can also access the Classified and Display advertising networks. All networks offer one-stop services for clients looking to advertise in New Mexico newspapers.
